Period begin when your body produces hormones.You can start your period between the ages of 8-16. However, the average age is either 11- 12 in a half. They can be 3-7 days long, but most girls have an average of 5 days. All of this takes place in your reproductive system.
How to Track Your Period
1) Have a calender. It's easier to track it if your have something to track it on.
2)Write down the first day of your period and put a little symbol on it so your know it that time of the
month.
3)When your period is finished, see how many days it is until your next period arrives. The days inn between a period are usually 21-35 days, but the average is 28 days.
4) Continue this process and you'll know when your period comes every month.
